BSMB 2025 Spring meeting:
ECM, immunity and infection

University of Nottingham
14th- 15th April 2025

Meeting Overview

14th - 15th  April 2035

We look forward to welcoming you to our stunning University Park at the University of Nottingham amid its extensive greenery and boating lake, for an exciting, inspiring and friendly meeting.

This two-day meeting will explore how the matrix is implicated in tissue immunology, the immune response to infection and microbial responsiveness, advancing understanding of how the matrix affects host-pathogen interactions and outcomes in infectious diseases.

You are invited to submit abstracts for invited talks and posters, making this a great opportunity for early career researchers to present and discuss their work not only on “Matrix, immunity and infection”, but also in associated matrix research in our popular open session.

Prior to the meeting, we will have an outreach programme with opportunities for primary school pupils to learn about a fascinating part of the human body they have never been told about: the extracellular matrix. Highlights of the programme will be showcased at the meeting.
